Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit an experienced Service Engineer to join their ever-expanding team. Our client’s main services include Access Control, Video Surveillance Systems, Audio/Video Entryphone, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, Smoke Vents, Emergency Lighting, Gate & Door Automation etc.
Responsibilities:
- Corrective maintenance works – fault finding, troubleshooting and first‑time fix whenever possible.
- Remedial and small works.
- Preventative maintenance.
- Client on‑site liaison.
- Working with monitored systems in liaison with our Alarm Receiving Centre.
- Completion of all required site and electronic paperwork promptly and with attention to detail.
- Demonstrate good industry knowledge of all required disciplines.
- Participate in regular ongoing internal and external technical, regulatory, and health and safety training.
- Participate in out‑of‑hours On Call Rota.
Qualifications:
- Good communication skills with both customers and colleagues.
- Multi‑disciplined Service Engineer.
- Team orientated.
- Strong time‑management skills.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office and working with networked/IP‑based systems.
- Proactive.
- Able to run works autonomously.
- Ability to supervise and motivate other engineers.
- Self‑motivated and willing to use initiative.
