The predicted salary is between 27600 - 38400 ÂŁ per year.

Location: London & surrounding areas

Salary: Up to ÂŁ46,000 per year. Call outs one in six weeks

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Overtime available

Job type: Full-time, permanent

A van and fuel card provided.

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit an experienced Service Engineer to join their ever-expanding team. Our client’s main services include Access Control, Video Surveillance Systems, Audio/Video Entryphone, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, Smoke Vents, Emergency Lighting, Gate & Door Automation etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Corrective maintenance works – fault finding, troubleshooting and first‑time fix whenever possible.
  • Remedial and small works.
  • Preventative maintenance.
  • Client on‑site liaison.
  • Working with monitored systems in liaison with our Alarm Receiving Centre.
  • Completion of all required site and electronic paperwork promptly and with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate good industry knowledge of all required disciplines.
  • Participate in regular ongoing internal and external technical, regulatory, and health and safety training.
  • Participate in out‑of‑hours On Call Rota.

Qualifications:

  • Good communication skills with both customers and colleagues.
  • Multi‑disciplined Service Engineer.
  • Team orientated.
  • Strong time‑management skills.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office and working with networked/IP‑based systems.
  • Proactive.
  • Able to run works autonomously.
  • Ability to supervise and motivate other engineers.
  • Self‑motivated and willing to use initiative.
