Quality Assurance Surveyor/Building Surveyor

Location: Kent based

GBP45,000 P/A

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Surveyor/Building Surveyor to join our reputable client within the Electrical and Building Services sector. The role involves delivering high-level, professional quality assurance services under the supervision of the Building and Planning Manager. Responsibilities include performing regular site inspections to evaluate workmanship and construction standards, and providing recommendations for corrective actions.

This is a full-time, permanent position with working hours from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Although primarily office-based, regular site visits are required, and a car allowance will be provided.

Main Duties

• Conducting post-inspection reports for various projects, specialist works, HHSRS, and repairs.
• Evaluating Disabled Adaptations and HHSRS regulations to identify and remedy hazards.
• Providing assistance and conducting surveys for building projects as needed.
• Performing site visits and inspections.
• Writing specifications as required.
• Communicating effectively with clients, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Ensuring compliance with company health & safety policies and procedures.
• Taking responsibility for health and safety, and collaborating with the HSEQ Manager to ensure adequate resources and standards.
• Promoting leadership and commitment to health & safety standards.
