Designer Recruitment are seeking a Junior Designer to work with a bespoke kitchen company in the South Manchester area. This is a permanent position offering up to £30,000 depending on your experience as a Designer. In this role, you will work with the team to support the sales process and assist in the creation and execution of kitchen designs for their clients. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about interior design, particularly kitchen spaces and is looking to gain experience in a creative and collaborative environment.

Junior Designer duties:

  • Supporting Sales Designers with projects and customers
  • Ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards
  • Providing additional support to the design team in the creation of kitchen layouts, mood boards, and visual presentations
  • Working closely with designers to ensure the brief given is captured correctly and you are accurately representing the designers' vision
  • Preparing accurate quotes after every revision and change is made
  • Reviewing post-survey drawings and ensuring changes are made to relevant drawings and product information is updated
  • Assisting in communicating with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and styles to help develop initial concepts and ideas
  • Helping to develop and update designs using design software
