Designer Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading luxury kitchen, bathroom and bespoke interiors company in their search for an experienced Project / Installation Manager. Our client delivers exceptional high-end residential projects, combining outstanding design, premium products and meticulous installation standards. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a construction-focused Project Manager to oversee projects from technical handover through to successful completion. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has progressed from a practical construction background and enjoys managing multiple trades, coordinating installations and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will take ownership of luxury residential kitchen, bathroom and interior projects throughout the installation phase. Working closely with designers, installers, suppliers, subcontractors and clients, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to the highest standards of quality. The position combines project management, site management and customer relationship management, requiring someone who is organised, technically minded and confident managing multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management
    • Manage multiple live projects simultaneously
    • Review project documentation following technical handover
    • Produce and maintain installation programmes
    • Coordinate project timelines and monitor progress
    • Identify risks and proactively resolve issues
  • Site & Installation Management
    • Conduct pre-installation site surveys
    • Manage installation teams and specialist subcontractors
    • Coordinate deliveries, labour and site logistics
    • Carry out regular site visits and quality inspections
    • Resolve technical and construction issues as they arise
    • Ensure installations are completed to company standards
  • Client Management
    • Act as the primary point of contact throughout the installation process
    • Build strong relationships with private residential clients
    • Provide regular project updates
    • Manage expectations and resolve concerns professionally
    • Deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Quality & Compliance
    • Monitor workmanship throughout installations
    • Manage snagging and remedial works
    • Complete final inspections and client sign-off
    • Promote health and safety best practice across all projects

About You

To be considered for this position, you will have:

  • A strong construction or site-based background
  • Experience managing residential refurbishment, fit-out or installation projects
  • A good understanding of multiple trades including carpentry, joinery, plumbing and electrical coordination
  • Experience managing subcontractors, installers and suppliers
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to read technical drawings
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Experience within luxury residential projects, high-end kitchens, bathrooms or bespoke interiors would be highly advantageous.
