Kitchen Designer in South West London

Designer Recruitment are seeking a Kitchen Designer for an award-winning luxury retailer in the South West London area.

The Kitchen Designer is responsible for designing and selling creative, expert design solutions with exceptional customer service.

This is a permanent position paying £40,000 – £45,000 per annum + Commission and other company benefits.

Kitchen Designer Duties:

• Driving sales through the design of bespoke kitchens, engaging with clients from initial consultation through to final installation
• Engagingwith clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets, offering expert design advice and tailored kitchen and furniture solutions
• Leading the creation of stunning, functional kitchen designs, producing detailed plans and 3D renderings using design software (e.g., Vectorworks, or similar)
• Managingthe full sales process, from generating leads to closing deals, providing accurate quotes, and ensuring all details of the clients project are captured and priced effectively
• Overseeing the progress of client projects, from design approval through to the final installation, ensuring high standards of quality, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.
• Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of kitchen products, materials, and trends to provide expert advice to clients and create the best solutions for their homes.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing excellent customer service throughout the sales and design process, including aftercare
• Working towards and exceed individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the business
• Building a network of clients using various lead generation techniques and sources to create sales opportunities, referrals and repeat clients
• Collaboratingwith other members of the sales and design team, as well as with the installation team, to ensure smooth project execution
• Representing the company at trade events, shows, and client meetings, acting as an ambassador for the brand and helping to build its reputation in the marketplace
• Managing client records, sales documentation, and progress reports, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is kept within the company systems

Kitchen Designer requirements:

• A proven experience in kitchen design and sales, with a strong portfolio of completed projects and a successful track record of achieving sales targets
• Proficiency in kitchen design software such as Vectorworks, SketchUp, or similar, with the ability to produce detailed floor plans
• Strong sales skills with the ability to close deals, upsell products, and deliver solutions tailored to clients needs and budgets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on providing outstanding customer service and building lasting client relationships
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and quality standards are met
• Possess an in-depth understanding of kitchen products, appliances, finishes, and current design trends
• Have the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments to achieve company goals
• A background in interior design, architecture, or a related field is preferred
