Designer Recruitment are seeking a Kitchen Designer in the Surrey area to work with a well-known and well-run kitchen company. This role is offering £25,000 + Commission OTE £41,000 and £71,000 based on sales performance. The role of Kitchen Designer is essential in delivering exceptional customer experiences through innovative and functional designs. It requires a blend of creativity and technical expertise, along with the ability to foster strong relationships with clients. To succeed, individuals will develop an in-depth understanding of product ranges and design systems, ensuring seamless collaboration with colleagues and delivering high-quality results.
Kitchen Designer responsibilities:
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of our product range, including furniture, appliances, worksurfaces and accessories.
- Approach, acknowledge and advise walk-in customers by demonstrating our product ranges with features and benefits while accurately recording opportunity/lead details.
- Drive opportunities through calling and speaking with potential customers that have requested brochures.
- Conduct home visits to measure and gather technical information.
- Develop relationships with local builders and architects to support future sales.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities and contribute to future growth through our Referral and Reward Partner schemes.
- Ensure service levels align with company standards.
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets.
- Achieve and exceed targeted conversion rates.
- Achieve the expected Gross Margins at Intake (orders into the factory).
- Learn and manage the end-to-end process from lead generation through to installation.
- Ensure you deliver high-quality kitchen and bedroom files to the Technical Team which results in a limited number of points to be addressed post the TMC check (Technical Manager Check).
- Master IT systems relevant to design and showroom operations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team by providing finished bedroom/kitchen imagery (Real Kitchens & Case Studies).
- Keep in touch with the customer throughout their journey from first meeting through to project completion.
- Generate excellent customer feedback via Trustpilot and Google Reviews through excellent customer service and high customer contact during the installation process.
