Designer Recruitment are seeking a Building Services Design Engineer in Cambridgeshire to support the Energy, Food Processing and Pharmaceutical Industry with a unique service. Our client provides a unique service from concept, advising and partnering with their clients to ensure the correct mechanical and electrical solution bespoke to their needs. This is a permanent role offering £60,000 - £75,000 for the right Design Engineer.
Design Engineer responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver a wide range of projects including:
- Low temperature hot water systems and their site wide distribution
- Steam and Condensate within Energy Centres
- ASHP and WSHP Installations
- Combined Heat and Power projects and their integration
- Commercial, industrial, and Healthcare
The Design Engineer:
- Conscientious, enthusiastic, well-organised and professional. You must provide a constant positive influence on the team, encourage others and lead by example.
- Be proactive with developing your own and others knowledge, while driving standards and quality throughout the team.
Design Engineer Qualifications Required:
- 8 years minimum experience as a Building Services Designer Engineer or similar.
- HNC or a degree in either Mechanical, Building Services or related Engineering discipline.
- Experience working on projects such as Energy Centres, CHP and Energy projects or healthcare sector also desirable.
- Hold, or working towards, membership with relevant industry body (CIBSE, IMechE, IET).
