Designer Recruitment are seeking an Area Sales Manager to join a leading supplier of kitchens covering the South of England. This is a permanent role offering up to £55,000 + Bonus + £850 per month Car/Allowance. Due to expansion, we are looking for a driven and experienced sales professional to join the existing B2B Team. This role would suit candidates with good access routes covering the South of England. This position would be ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships and identifying new opportunities with significant experience in kitchen sales and account growth/development, as well as experience of opening new accounts.

Area Sales Manager duties:

  • Identify and pursue market development opportunities through proactive gathering of market intelligence
  • Identify and address customer's needs in a timely manner
  • Conduct weekly and monthly activity reporting
  • Increase sales by introducing new customers, according to yearly set objectives
  • Develop annual budgets / forecasts
  • Build and maintain customer relationships in order to identify new opportunities and grow sales
  • Understand customer needs, build and maintain excellent relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Coordinate between the German / HQ factories and customers/account base

Area Sales Manager experience:

  • Proven experience in new business sales and key account management, in the KBB industry
  • Proficiency in the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with a demonstrated track record of building and converting sales opportunities
  • Strong commercial and sales acumen to generate sales and growth opportunities
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, especially with senior stakeholders
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, able to work independently and set priorities
  • Excellent time management, written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
  • Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office
