JOB PURPOSE

To assume complete responsibility for overseeing the Production Planning, Project Management, and Material Planning for Value Added Service activities, with a focus on the annual Giftset program. Ensuring seamless execution from inception to delivery to meet customer demand. This entails overseeing the creation process of VAS/Giftsets, including the development of Bill of Materials (BOMs) for each Brand. Additionally, managing and nurturing relationships with essential suppliers, fillers, and packers falls within the purview of this role. This role requires working 4 days from our office in Watford and 1 day from home.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supply Planning, Forecasting & Stock Management: Collaborate with the Sales and Brand teams to manage Sales Forecast and fulfil customer demand for VAS/Giftsets. Coordinate with Production Planners and packers to schedule and maintain production in alignment with VAS/Giftset customer demand. Maintain punctual deliveries for components, Semi Finished products and VAS/Giftsets pack off. Generate and manage Purchase Orders and Production Orders using SAP. Process and approve invoices in a timely manner. Conduct regular stock checks with packers to monitor inventory levels. Take ownership of stock availability and management.
  • Coordination of Activities and Project Management: Work closely with the Brand & NPD teams, leading VAS/Giftset projects to ensure timely execution. This involves working with Master Data Management creating new SKUs, coordinating transport logistics based on location, requirements, and availability. Ensure that Contract Fillers comply with agreed-upon production plans. Coordinate with Suppliers, Contract Manufacturers, and Internal Departments as needed. Investigate root causes of stock discrepancies and ensure the execution of necessary stock adjustments.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Promptly report any potential risks of out-of-stock (OOS) situations and delays. Act as escalation point for complex queries or complaints. Maintain strong relationships with key internal/external clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure adherence to technical and quality specifications throughout the production process. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance speed and accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Qualifications & Experience: 3+ years in similar supply planning or manufacturer planning role. Basic knowledge of project management. Advance Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup formulas etc.). Experience in SAP Business is desirable.
