JOB PURPOSE

The Senior Amazon Account Manager is responsible for leading and delivering the Amazon channel performance, driving revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence across all Amazon marketplaces. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role owns the execution and optimisation of the Amazon channel, ensuring alignment with the overall digital trading strategy and P&L objectives. The role combines strategic planning and hands-on execution, covering trading, content, advertising, and marketplace expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Amazon Channel Ownership
    • Own day-to-day performance of the Amazon channel across all markets (UK, EU, USA)
    • Deliver against revenue, margin, and growth targets set by the Commercial Manager
    • Act as the subject matter expert for all Amazon-related activity
  • Trading & Performance Execution
    • Execute the Amazon trading plan aligned to the digital trading calendar
    • Manage key events including Prime Day, Black Friday/Cyber Monday, seasonal campaigns and launches
    • Monitor performance and optimise activity to maximise results
  • Listing & Content Optimisation
    • Ensure listings are optimised for SEO, discoverability and conversion
    • Improve product content including imagery, copy and A+ content
    • Maintain brand consistency across listings and storefront
  • Amazon Advertising & Retail Media
    • Manage Amazon Ads strategy, campaign execution and budgets
    • Optimise keyword targeting, ROAS, TACoS and profitability
    • Scale high-performing campaigns
  • Marketplace Expansion (EU / USA)
    • Support growth across international marketplaces
    • Ensure localisation of listings, pricing and content
    • Identify market-specific opportunities
  • Pricing & Promotions
    • Execute pricing and promotional activity in line with commercial strategy
    • Manage deals, discounts and promotional mechanics
    • Ensure channel alignment
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting
    • Track KPIs including revenue, traffic, conversion rate and ROAS / TACoS
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations
    • Flag risks and opportunities proactively
  • Cross-functional collaboration:
    • Commercial Manager (strategy, targets, priorities)
    • D2C / CRM Manager (alignment on promotions and product focus)
    • Brand Team (content, launches, messaging)
    • Operations (stock availability, fulfilment, FBA planning)
  • Collaborate with Operations to:
    • Maintain optimal stock levels in Amazon (FBA/FBM)
    • Support demand forecasting
    • Avoid stockouts and overstock
    • Ensure Amazon's readiness and alignment

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience managing Amazon Seller/Vendor Central accounts
  • Strong understanding of: Amazon SEO, Listing optimisation, Amazon Ads / retail media
  • Experience managing multi-marketplace (UK/EU/USA) accounts
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to turn data into action
  • Experience in eCommerce, ideally fashion or consumer goods
