Designer Parfums is a fast-growing company in the perfume and cosmetics industry, with a UK base and international ambition. Brands we operate include GHOST, ARIANA GRANDE, JENNIFER LOPEZ, HAWAIIAN TROPIC, CERRUTI, PLAYBOY, GUY LAROCHE, and PALOMA PICASSO. This is a full-time position, located in Watford, UK. This role requires 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home.
JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager, Designer Parfums (DP) is looking for a Demand Planner to provide support to the Demand planning function across all brands with the target of making sure we provide stock to our customers on time and in full. The role will require working very closely with Marketing, Sales teams, and account managers as well as the production planning team. The successful candidate will have a background in Demand planning and be at a very good level of technical (Excel Skills) to be able to fully support the function.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Demand Planning for all brands
- Collate Market Forecasts and update planning tools
- Monitor Forecast accuracy by brand and customer on a monthly basis
- Monitor & report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets & business strategies
- Propose & implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
- Support the Demand Planning Manager with risk assessments & mitigation activities
- Send stock updates to stakeholders & report any potential OOS risk
- Maintain optimum stock levels across the warehouse with the timely transfer of stock to support forecast
- Work with production planners to ensure they meet requirements & planned productions have been approved
- Ensure on-time deliveries for finished products
- Building relationships across various departments & internationally
- Liaise with Internal Departments
- Deliver on Operational KPIs
- Drive continuous improvement of demand planning tools and capabilities
- Support the development of fit-for-purpose IT infrastructure (SAP)
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years relevant demand planning experience, including hands‑on or management experience in most of the below disciplines:
- Experience in SAP Business is desirable
- Experience in Demand Planning is essential
- Can learn quickly
- Has a proactive approach to problem‑solving
- Systems driven with good analytical skills
- High level of Excel skills
- Excellent time and self‑management skills
- Keen to learn and motivated
- Ability to work under pressure
- Outstanding written & verbal communication and organizational skills
