JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for an experienced Visual Merchandising Manager with a minimum of 12/18 months of experience. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for fragrances and lifestyle brands and trends. You will play a key role in the development and execution of all store launch activations, experiential events, and training conferences. You must be a self-starter and able to manage multiple projects and brands at one time. This is an exciting and hands-on role where you will be part of the UK Marketing team reporting to the Senior UK Marketing Manager. This is a hybrid role - 4 days in our office in London/Watford and 1 day WFH.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead development and execution of new fragrance launches point of sales marketing materials from briefing artwork design to managing delivery into stores.
- Brilliantly execute comms for all product launches and executions throughout the year across our portfolio of brands with key retail partners – Boots, Superdrug, The perfume shop, The fragrance shop & more.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement all visual merchandising activities in line with monthly marketing calendar, ensuring that the brand is represented in a consistent way across all channels.
- Brief & Manage POS agencies for all UK launches.
- Develop a visual merchandising & marketing communication strategy as well as merchandising guidelines.
- Keep stores up to date with regular communication & provide guidance on VM standards.
- Be responsible for managing each retailer’s deadlines for POS artworks & all comms and ad hoc retailer requests.
- Create briefs for agencies and for the internal creative team to create artwork.
- Upload artworks to Superdrug platform & supply POS agency with approved artworks.
- Organize all POS testers and GWP samples for each launch activation.
- Source ideas and brief suppliers on Training pack items.
- Coordinate packing of training packs with warehouse & Shipping to POS agency.
- Develop staff training materials & organize training conference stands with agencies.
- Conduct frequent Store Audits & reports.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Marketing & Communication, and Business or Management experience in the fragrance/make-up industry, exposed to major brands within an International/ European environment, in a Sales & Marketing/business strategy commercial function.
- English spoken and written language. French and/or Spanish a plus.
- Strong Analytical skills.

- Excellent written and oral communication, excellent presentation skills, as well as an ability to communicate with multiple cultures, and interpersonal skills.
