Role Overview

Performs detailed field inspections of piping systems to verify installation quality and compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct line walk-downs against P&IDs and isometrics.
  • Verify materials, tag numbers, and installation standards.
  • Prepare punch lists and monitor corrective actions.
  • Support hydrotesting and pre-commissioning inspections.
  • Confirm proper installation of supports and spring hangers.
  • Check flange alignment, bolt torque, and gasket installation.
  • Verify welding identification and traceability.
  • Ensure compliance with approved ITP hold and witness points.
  • Coordinate with supervisors to resolve quality issues.
  • Document inspections with photographic evidence and reports.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Technical qualification in Mechanical discipline.
  • 3 years piping QA/QC experience.
  • Familiarity with ITPs and inspection documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
