The predicted salary is between 22000 - 26000 £ per year.

The main objective of the role is to ensure that the warehouse is secure, efficient and tidy at all times whilst being available to deliver goods to sites when required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring all goods entering and leaving the warehouse
  • Ensuring all goods in the warehouse are labelled, stored safely, neatly and correctly
  • Selling goods directly to the public from the shop display
  • Being available to deliver to site when required
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods from vehicles
  • Carrying out administration and housekeeping duties in relation to the warehouse
  • Assisting with the building of furniture when necessary
  • Ensuring merchandise and warehouse security
  • Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times
  • Assisting Sub Floor Technicians or Fitters with day-to-day duties
  • Learning procedures required in assessment and practical work involved in sub floor preparation

Qualifications

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and manage time effectively
  • Accuracy in following instructions
  • Strong team player with a great attitude to work
  • Great organisation skills, with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Full UK driving license to complete driving duties
  • Willingness to undertake training for a Fork Lift Truck certificate
  • Ability to work efficiently and safely under pressure
  • Willingness to obtain a CSCS Card and undertake Asbestos Awareness Training
