This role involves ensuring the efficient and effective running of the departments you will be responsible for in line with company policy and procedures. It is a busy and varied role that requires prioritising workload accordingly. We are looking for a strong team player with a positive and enthusiastic approach to work.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise sales orders and fitting costs
- Authorize payments to fitters
- Minimise regional stock holding and maintain correct stock levels
- Recruit and manage fitters
- Ensure customer service issues are resolved quickly and to the highest standards expected by customers
- Deputise for the Senior Contracts Manager as required
- Run management reports to ensure compliance
- Manage, motivate, develop and communicate with the team
- Meet own and regional objectives and targets
Qualifications
- Proven experience in effectively managing multiple teams
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Excellent people management skills
- DBS check required upon successful application
- Full and current UK driving licence to carry out site visits
- Current CSCS card required
- Previous experience in the flooring industry or new build sector is advantageous but not essential
