Due to our continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative with Driving Duties to join our friendly team based in Exeter.

Salary: £28,000 plus bonus

Type: Permanent, Full Time

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 16:30pm

The main objective of the role is to ensure that the warehouse is secure, efficient and tidy at all times whilst being available to deliver goods to sites when required. Other key areas of responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring all goods entering and leaving the warehouse
  • Ensuring all goods in the warehouse are labelled and stored safely, neatly and correctly
  • Selling goods directly to the public from the shop display
  • Being available to deliver to site when required
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods from vehicles
  • Carrying out administration and housekeeping duties in relation to the warehouse
  • Assisting with the building of furniture when necessary
  • Ensuring merchandise and warehouse security
  • Ensuring that high health and safety standards are maintained at all times

Key requirements:

  • Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Great organisation skills, with accuracy and attention to detail
  • A full UK driving license to complete driving duties
  • Must be willing to undertake training for a Fork Lift Truck certificate
  • Ability to work efficiently and safely under pressure
