Trainee Accounts Administrator in Chesterfield

Due to our continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Accounts Administrator to join our friendly team at our Head Office based in Chesterfield.

Salary – £26,250 plus bonus

Type: Permanent Full Time

Working Pattern Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Assist with all elements of Purchase Ledger and Sub-contractor payment procedures
• Assist with management accounts and reconcile the suspense account monthly
• Assist with cash book and bank reconciliations
• Assist with processing petty cash claims, direct debit payments, expenses and mileage claims
• Ensure procedures are followed to prevent duplication of purchase ledger payments and fitter invoice payments
• Assist with pro-forma accounts and payments and ensure there are no supplier credit balances

Key Requirements

• Very well organised with excellent IT and numerical skills
• Be a strong team player
• Have excellent time management skills
• Be able to work well under pressure whilst keeping the highest level of accuracy
