As part of the Performance & Development department, you will be part of a team who have the responsibility to drive efficiency, compliance, learning and transformation across our business, embedding a continual improvement-focussed culture. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, driving improvements and working across multiple areas of a growing business. This role is based in Chesterfield and requires regular travel throughout the UK with overnight stays most weeks. This is not simply an internal compliance auditing role; it requires someone who can understand the interaction between people, processes, technology and outcomes, identifying opportunities to create meaningful and sustainable change. Development and growth opportunities linked to performance are available within the team and wider business.

Job Objective
To improve process, stock control and administrative performance across the business whilst maximising efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a small field-based team to conduct internal compliance audits, stocktakes and asset checks, ensuring that checks and reporting are completed to a high standard.
  • Use initiative and sound judgement to ensure continued compliance to our quality requirements and internal policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships and credibility within regional teams, including discussing findings with peers and senior managers.
  • Investigate compliance and stock control issues, determine the cause and recommend corrective actions, supporting improvements.
  • Develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures.

  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to write reports.

  • Experienced Microsoft Office user, and willing to learn and become an expert in multiple internal systems and software.

  • Able to assimilate information from a range of sources and come to reasoned and evidence-based conclusions to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
