Job Responsibilities
- Establish, implement, and maintain risk standards and programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, agency, legal, regulatory, and Corporate Policy requirements.
- Oversee the Front Lineβs execution and address challenges related to compliance decisions.
- Support monitoring of a risk-based compliance program.
- Develop and oversee standards with some business and functional knowledge.
- Provide compliance risk insights and support projects with low to moderate risk.
- Work with business units on compliance matters related to specific rules and regulations.
- Support reporting, escalation, and remediation of compliance issues and deficiencies.
- Draft reports and recommendations for management.
- Implement initiatives with low to moderate risk and support risk oversight activities.
- Manage data accuracy and troubleshoot system issues.
- Research regulatory rules and manage related projects.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control.
- Build effective relationships with various teams and internal customers.
- Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives.
- Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

Qualifications
- B.Com, MBA, or M.Com with 10+ years in Banking and Financial Services, including 4+ years in risk management.
- 3+ years of People Management/Leadership experience.
- Experience in Compliance or related fields through work, training, military, or education.
Technical / Professional Skills
- Law degree or Company Secretary qualification.
- Experience with technology data entry processes.
- Ability to guide team on using SHRP Governance Management system (Archer platform).
- Coaching and training skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive, professional, and improvement-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of SharePoint is an advantage.
