Ready to put the Design into Designate? We’re looking for a passionate, talented designer to join our team. We want someone that’s going to bring the energy, excitement and love for all things design. Someone that thrives on variety. And is happy creating a big brand identity one week, OOH posters the next and digital banners the week after. We’re looking for someone with the drive to Trigger Bigger Thinking in everything they do, to go beyond the brief and surprise us with creative thinking that makes us famous.
Location: Brighton - Hybrid with 4 days in office, but 5 days is preferred.
Reporting to: Executive Creative Director
Key skills:
- The ability to Trigger Bigger Thinking in each and every brief.
- To create bold design work that makes the clients, and agency, famous.
- Craft skills across digital, print, animation.
- A book full of standout work.
- Exceptional brand-building skills.
- The ability to prompt AI effectively and use it as part of the design process.
- Skills in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Figma, and preferably AfterEffects although not essential.
- The drive, agility and ambition to work in a small but hungry creative department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create killer design work across all channels.
- Create presentation decks that sell work to clients.
- Work with writers, art directors to craft final outputs.
- To work in both digital design, print and brand identity.
- To develop a keen and curious understanding of all clients, their sectors, competitors and their products.
- To read industry journals, ensuring you are up-to-date with the design industry, competition and overall industry trends.
- To work as a team with other members of the Creative Department, Client Services Team and Operations to make the work and agency the best it can possibly be.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in a creative/design agency.
