Our client is currently looking for a Senior Electrical Designer on a contracting basis, the position is working from the clients Manchester offices with the opportunity to work Hybrid with a pattern of 2/3 days in the office and the rest from home. The client is also offering an Outside of IR35 contract that will offer negotiable hourly rates. The client is also open to offering remote working for the right candidate.
The right candidate will be responsible for the production of drawing office deliverables including but not limited to SLDs, IO & Cable Schedules, P&IDs, Material Take Off, BCDs, Schematics, Equipment and Cable routing layouts. You will also be responsible for checking drawings in accordance with the clients procedures and liaising with other disciplines as required.
The client is looking for candidates that have a good knowledge of design working practices and installation requirements of the discipline across the water industry. The client is looking for candidates with 10 years engineering experience within the relevant or similar sectors and is proficient in CAD as well as a good understanding of LV electrical design. Candidates must have the right to work within the UK.
