Principal Project Engineer

Our client is currently looking for a Principal Project Engineer, the position will be a staff role with a salary that is commensurate to your experience. the client is looking for Project Engineers to work within there dedicated Power team that sits alongside the Civil & Structural department, the position is offering hybrid working with just 1 day a week in the office and the rest from home, with the office located in the Manchester area.\\n\\nThe client is looking for candidates that have experience in Transition stations, Substation buildings and power stations. Within the Power team you may be working on foundations, buildings, bunding for equipment, roads, fencing as well as being responsible for ensuring that cost, resourcing, program management, client liaison is managed accordingly.\\n\\nCandidates with a background in the power sector would be idea i.e.

working for SSE, National Grid etc but it is not required of candidates to have experience within this sector. Dependent on the project size, successful candidates will most likely be involved in both doing the design and leading the project.\\n\\nIn regards to the non negotiables that the client has sent out, they are looking for a candidate with a C&S background with some experience in leading project management and delivery.\\n\\nThe right to work in the UK must be established already
