Our client is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Designer on a contracting basis. The role is based in the client’s Manchester office with a hybrid working pattern of 2–3 days in the office and the remainder from home. The contract is outside of IR35 and will offer negotiable hourly rates. The client is open to remote working for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of drawing office deliverables, including:
- SLDs
- IO & Cable Schedules
- P&IDs
- Material Take Off
- BCDs
- Schematics
- Equipment and Cable routing layouts
Qualifications
- Good knowledge of design working practices and installation requirements across the water industry.
- 10+ years of engineering experience within the relevant sector or similar.
- Proficient in CAD and a strong understanding of LV electrical design.
- Right to work within the UK.
