Our client is currently looking for a Design Manager for their client offices in Warrington. The role will be outside of IR35 and offering a negotiable rate, with a hybrid pattern of working that includes occasional site visitations and the option to work from home when required.
The client is looking for candidates with experience in the Water sector, specifically in Mechanical, Electrical ICA, or Civils disciplines in maintenance, design, or capital delivery roles. Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of:
- Design delivery
- Design procurement
- Design management
- Design control
- Quality assurance
- BIM to ISO 19650
Additionally, a working knowledge of the NEC4 suite of contracts is required.
You will be responsible for controlling the flow of information between parties to ensure relevant information is available to the appropriate teams at the right time, including supply chain partners. You will also prepare design scopes and agree on deliverable requirements in collaboration with relevant teams.
Furthermore, you will ensure designs are implemented and managed in alignment with the project BIM strategy. Candidates must have experience working with the NEC4 Contract and possess experience in the Water industry.
