The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.
Our clients are currently looking for Senior Mechanical Engineers based within the Northwest. The work will span across the Defence sector and Nuclear sector and will require candidates to be either SC cleared or be able to gain SC clearance if successful with their application.
The positions available will be long term contracts that could be worked Outside of IR35 with some clients but with others it will be strictly Inside of IR35 with rates that are commensurate to your experience. The positions will also be offering hybrid working with it being 1 or 2 days in the office per week and the rest from home.
Candidates must have working experience of AutoCAD 3D and Inventor as well as having worked in highly regulated sectors in the past with defence or nuclear being preferential but not essential. Applicants must have experience in covering a variety of tasks across a range of complexities and have the ability to interface with other disciplines when required.
Experience in managing engineering scope for projects from concept design to full EPC is desirable from the candidate as well as an engineer who can ensure procedures, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities.
As always the right to work within the UK must be established and candidates must be eligible to gain Security Clearance if they do not already hold it.
