Our client is currently looking for a Senior Chemical Engineer with vast experience in the UK Chemical sector to join their Process team. The position will be a long-term contracting role offering negotiable rates on an Inside of IR35 determination. The client is offering hybrid working with 1 day a week in the office and the rest from home.
You will be responsible for producing design deliverables including calculations, specifications, and reports as well as site surveys. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary members of the design team to deliver safe, efficient, and buildable solutions, as well as contribute to the preparation of enquiry plans, fee estimate sheets, scopes of work, and change controls as required.
The client is looking for a Chemical Engineer who has experience in developing Process Flow Diagrams, P&ID’s, equipment datasheets, and specifications, as well as experience in standard process engineering calculations including pressure drops, pump sizing, control valve sizing, heat transfer, and heat & mass balance calculations.
The right to work must be established within the UK, and the position will be working within the Chemical, advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries.
