The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.
Our client is currently on the lookout for an Engineering Manager. The role will be looking for either Staff or a contracting person and can offer an Outside of IR35 contract if the candidate prefers that. The client is offering hybrid working and is open to negotiation in regards to days in/out of office. The role will be working within the Water industry and will require occasional site visits in which travel expenses will be paid.
Responsibilities
- Develop multi-disciplinary engineers, CAD technicians and graduates.
- Identify and implement safe, efficient and valued engineering design solutions and communicate these to clients and project teams.
- Act as the professional head for the design function and guide design compliance with relevant technical, professional and water company standards.
- Approve design packages.
- Travel to site for occasional site visits; travel expenses will be paid.
Qualifications
- Long history of working in the water industry.
- Understanding of MEICA, Civils and Process Designs.
- Track record of managing multidisciplinary design teams and projects.
- Right to work within the UK.
