Our client is currently looking for a Senior Safety Engineer, the role will be a long term IR35 contract that can offer hybrid working, the position will be working from the clients’ offices in Warrington and will require candidates to have the ability to gain Security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 5 years demonstrable knowledge and industry experience of a range of nuclear facilities.
  • Experience of building safety case documentation including Hazard management strategy, Radiological safety assessments and safety reports (PSRs, PCSRs).
  • Experience of developing junior members of previous teams.
  • Experience in verification of peer reports.
  • Supporting production of the safety submissions and producing technical scopes of work during project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of the ALARP Principle and knowledge of ONR Safety Assessment Principles.
  • Participation in HAZOPs.
  • Ability to gain BPSS before starting the role, progressing to Security Clearance as the project moves forward.
