Senior Mechanical Engineer
Our client is currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer.
The role is a permanent staff position located between several end clients in Sheffield and Derby.
It involves working from home with visits to client offices as project requirements dictate.
The role offers a salary that is commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
During this role, candidates will be responsible for applying Mechanical Engineering principles to the design, analysis, and development of system machines and components.
This includes producing concept, detailed, and layout designs and supporting them with engineering calculations and analysis.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a strong knowledge of core Mechanical Engineering principles including mechanics and dynamics, thermodynamics, materials science, structural analysis, and mechanical design.
They must have experience working within highly regulated industries such as Nuclear, Subsea, Renewables, Oil & Gas, and Defence.
For this role, a Security Clearance is required; therefore, all applicants must be sole British Nationals and must not have been outside the UK for longer than six months within the past five years.
The right to work within the UK must already be established.
