Our client is currently looking for a Principal Process Engineer on a staff basis; the position will be offering a salary that is commensurate with your experience and will also be offering the opportunity of hybrid working with the clients' offices being located in the Trafford area of Manchester. Candidates must have the right to work established within the UK.
The client is looking for candidates that have relevant design experience within the regulated water industry as this role will be working across the clean and waste water industries. Candidates must have extensive experience and understanding of wastewater unit processes and treatment plants, with experience of delivering process design for wastewater projects.
You will be responsible for ensuring the design team produce design deliverables that satisfy safety and quality requirements. The correct candidate will be responsible for checking and approving mass balance, process sizing and hydraulic calculations, process flow diagrams, control philosophies and commissioning strategies.
This role will be working within the water industry and will need candidates to guide designs in compliance with relevant technical, professional and water company standards. You may be required to attend sites but most work will be from the clients' offices or home.
