Our client is currently looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer, the position is an Outside IR35 contract that will be on a long term basis. The position is offering candidates a negotiable daily rate and will be offering flexible working. The position will be based out of an end client's site that is based in the Rugby area. All candidates must have the Right to work in the UK.

Candidates will be responsible for the early stage design and integration, leading the integration of internal mechanical design with specialist third party designs e.g. aeration systems, pumps, various mechanical package plants, chemical dosing, valves. You will also be responsible for working with the MEICA team, attendance to Factory Acceptance Testing will be required as well as quality inspections to verify that the physical mechanical assets match the approved design prior to delivery to site.

The client is looking for candidates that have experience with BIM and CAD 3D, a strong background in the UK Water/Wastewater sector with a deep understanding of hydraulics, pumping systems, package plant and pipework. Candidates will require a EUSR water hygiene card as well as a valid CSCS card. Our client is also looking for candidates that have experience of working within NEC contract frameworks, specifically managing subcontractor technical compliance.
