Our client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer within their Manchester offices. The role will be a long term contracting position that can be worked Outside IR35. The position will offer the opportunity for remote working with occasional visits to the client office or end client sites when required for the project.
Candidates must have significant experience working within UK water projects as the position will be working across various water frameworks. You will be responsible for producing design documents that are cost effective, meet the requirements of the specification set out, and can be installed and commissioned effectively.
During this role, candidates will be preparing installation scope of works, reviewing suppliers' quotations, and preparing technical bid assessments. The client is looking for candidates with a good knowledge of design working practices and installation requirements of the relevant sectors, ideally with around 10 years of engineering experience.
You will require knowledge in the requirements of installation of equipment in potentially explosive areas, as well as having experience in CE marking of plant and equipment including ATEX, PED, Low voltage directive, machinery directive, and EMC compliance. Applicants must have the right to work within the UK already established.
