Our client is currently looking for a Senior Buyer to be based out of their Manchester offices, the role will be working Inside IR35 offering a negotiable hourly rate. The position will be working across a large portfolio of projects across multiple sectors. Candidates will have to be eligible for gaining BPSS clearance at a minimum due to some projects the client works on.

This role will require candidates to take ownership of the end-to-end procurement and management of professional service agreements, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and strong supplier performance is always carried out. This role will have candidates managing the full lifecycle of bids, drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts.

The client is looking for candidates that have experience and working knowledge of UK model forms of contract, in particular NEC4 PSC, as well as experience advising on procurement practices and good contract management. Candidates with significant experience in procurement or supply chain roles within construction or engineering are favourable, as well as having experience drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts.

Candidates must have the right to work established within the UK.
