The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Our client is currently looking for multiple Electrical Engineers, the role will be working on a contracting basis that will be offering hybrid working or remote working with the occasional site visitation required for design meetings and reviews. The contract will be Inside of IR35 and offering a rate that is commensurate with experience. The client is looking for all levels from Engineering level to Principal Engineer level.
Responsibilities:
- Authoring, development, assessment, maintenance and management of design changes/concessions.
- Production and development of examination, inspection, maintenance and testing (EIMT) schedule, operating procedures and results to satisfy the design requirements and safety case through the project life cycle.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Experience of working within the Nuclear / Defence sector is preferred but not essential; candidates can take an introductory course before beginning the role if not experienced in Defence or Nuclear.
- Experience with industrial plants and machinery in a HV and LV environment (e.g., pumps, generators, lightning protectors and control systems).
- Knowledge of current British & European standards and working practices.
- Right to work in the UK; sole British national; ability to gain SC clearance if not already held due to the nature of the role.
