Design Me A Heat Pump is the UK\'s first independent MCS Umbrella sign-off consultant, enabling Merchants and Installers to achieve fully MCS accredited heat pump installations without the paperwork and accreditation process. By remaining independent, Installers can purchase equipment through their chosen local suppliers, reducing costs for homeowners. We provide a range of services across Wales, including heat loss calculations, full design for new builds, heat pump commissioning, technical support, training, and refrigerant pipework installation. We work with manufacturers like Daikin, LG, Samsung, Hisense, and Viessmann, with more coming soon.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the United Kingdom. The chosen candidate will be responsible for performing heat loss calculations, designing heat pump systems for new builds, commissioning heat pumps, providing technical support to installers and homeowners, training installers, and conducting refrigerant pipework installations and reclamations. The role requires hands-on work with manufacturers such as Daikin, LG, Samsung, Hisense, and Viessmann.

Responsibilities

  • Perform heat loss calculations and design heat pump systems for new builds.
  • Commission heat pumps and provide technical support to installers and homeowners.
  • Train installers on systems and best practices.
  • Conduct refrigerant pipework installations and reclamations.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers (Daikin, LG, Samsung, Hisense, Viessmann) as required.

Qualifications

  • Experience with heat loss calculations and heat pump system design.
  • Technical support and training skills for installers and homeowners.
  • Knowledge of heat pump commissioning and refrigerant pipework installation.
