Working as the Trainee 3D CAD Engineer / Technician you will join our busy Drawing Team, where you will support your team on a number of projects. As the Trainee 3D CAD Engineer / Technician you will be keen, enthusiastic and hardworking individual and will work alongside an experienced CAD Technician, where you will assist in providing specialist service produced drawings through interpretation of verbal instructions, sketches, specifications, surveys etc. As the Trainee 3D CAD Engineer / Technician you do not need previous experience. However, you will need to have a keen interest in computer aided design and technical drawings, along with excellent computer skills. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to attend industry standard CAD training courses and gain knowledge from an experienced engineering team. ABOUT US Design Installation Service is a leading Mechanical Services Contractor specialising in the design, installation, testing and commissioning of commercial and industrial building services. We have been delivering mechanical and public health building services projects since 1972. Based in Cheltenham in Gloucestershire our team of over 70 people works on contracts across the UK and Ireland.
