Design Build Search is seeking a Senior Project Manager on behalf of our client based in London. Our client is an established cost and project management consultancy founded in 1999. With over 25 years of experience, they provide cost management, project management and funder advisory services to clients across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe. Our client has built a strong reputation for delivering efficient solutions and trusted independent advice across the construction sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and design teams.
  • Lead the delivery of high-quality project management services, ensuring client satisfaction at every stage.
  • Conduct background research, data collection, and due diligence to support project planning.
  • Prepare clear, well-structured project briefs, reports, and timelines.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, fee drawdowns, and non-construction costs.
  • Draft essential documents including briefs, procurement strategies, and project roadmaps.
  • Oversee the procurement process: prepare RFPs, build tender lists, assess submissions, and create detailed reports.
  • Produce monthly project reports, track progress, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Drive project close-out procedures, manage handovers and defect resolution.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities to grow the business and raise the firm’s profile in the market.

Requirements:

  • Relevant third level qualification in Construction Management/Engineering or Surveying.
  • 5-7 years' experience in a Project Manager position.
  • Experience ideally within a Construction Consultancy.
  • Experience in Residential, Hotels, Commercial, or Logistics projects would be advantageous.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • High level of reporting skills.
  • Proficient in preparing and analysing construction programmes.
  • Experience in contract administration would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
