We are currently working with a welcoming, supportive primary school in Bootle who are seeking a confident and experienced Reception Class Teacher to join their team on a long‑term maternity cover, starting after May half term – 1st June 2026.
The Role
- Full responsibility for a Reception class
- Delivering engaging, play‑based learning in line with the EYFS Framework
- Supporting children's early development across communication, language, literacy and maths
- Making accurate observations and assessments to inform next steps
- Working collaboratively with an experienced EYFS team and support staff

Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has recent experience teaching Reception
- Strong understanding of the EYFS statutory framework
