This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Early Years practitioner looking to secure a full-time, long-term teaching position from January 2027. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting children at the beginning of their educational journey, creating a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- - Full responsibility for a Reception class
- - Planning, delivering and assessing learning in line with the EYFS Framework
- - Creating a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
- - Supporting children's academic, social and emotional development
- - Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate observations and assessments
- - Working closely with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leaders
- - Building strong relationships with parents and carers
- - Contributing positively to the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate
- - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- - Full Enhanced DBS
- - Has experience teaching within Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ideally Reception
- - Demonstrates a strong understanding of child development and the EYFS Framework
- - Confident in planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning opportunities
- - Has excellent classroom management and communication skills
- - Demonstrates a positive, nurturing and professional approach
- - Is reliable, committed and passionate about early years education
