KS2 Teaching Assistant (SEN Support) Rainford
A friendly and inclusive primary school in Rainford is looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils within Key Stage 2 on a full-time, long-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and proactive TA who enjoys helping children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The role will involve working alongside the class teacher as well as providing additional support to pupils with Special Educational Needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils across KS2 with their daily learning and development
- Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning objectives
- Provide tailored support for children with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum effectively
- Assist with classroom management and the preparation of learning resources
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote an engaging learning environment
- Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and parents where appropriate.
