Desian Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic general primary classroom Teaching Assistant to support the learning and development of children in a local Wirral primary school. You will be working within a year 1 class so a knowledge of the KS1 curriculum would be beneficial but the school are able to offer training and support. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education, eager to make a difference in the classroom, and looking to develop their skills in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Support pupils in small groups.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive interactions.
- Prepare and organise learning materials and classroom resources.
- Provide feedback to teachers on pupils' progress and engagement.
- Support children with additional needs as required.
- Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
