Desian Education are delighted to be recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Bootle., This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate KS1 specialist looking to secure a full‑time, long‑term teaching position from January 2027. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils through the important transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1 while delivering engaging and effective lessons in a nurturing classroom environment.
- Full responsibility for a Year 1 class
- - Planning, delivering and assessing lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- - Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
- - Monitoring pupil progress and providing effective feedback
- - Working closely with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leaders
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- - Has experience teaching in Year 1 or across Key Stage 1
- - Confident delivering the Year 1 curriculum
- - Experience supporting children's transition from EYFS is desirable
- - Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one)
- - Demonstrates a positive, nurturing and professional approach
- - Is reliable, committed and able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
£120 - £232 per day (M1-M6), dependent on experience.
