Your new company Desian Education are proud to be supporting a two-form entry primary school in Salford that is easily accessible via public transport as they are looking to appoint an experienced and motivated teaching assistant to a long-term full-time contract. This role will commence after the Easter period and will last the remainder of the academic year.

This is an extremely exciting opportunity to join a highly experienced and supportive KS2 cohort. You will work in partnership with class teachers to promote the engagement, focus and attainment of all pupils by breaking down learning barriers and integrating pupils' key interests into the learning.

You will:

  • Plan and deliver interventions in core subjects
  • Deliver intense interventions to lower/mixed ability pupils on a small group basis
  • Promote positive behaviours and engagement
  • Liaise with class teachers on pupil progress and further requirements
  • Support with SATs preparation

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Be at least Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualified
  • Relevant referenceable classroom experience in KS2
  • Good knowledge of the KS2 national curriculum
  • Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Children's DBS check
