Desian Education are proud to be working in partnership with a Warrington-based three-form entry primary school as they require a confident and motivated teaching assistant to support the UKS2 (upper key stage 2) cohort. This is a full-time temporary position that will last the remainder of the academic year. Subject to funding, this position may be extended into next academic year.
As a teaching assistant within this school, you will be supporting across all UKS2 classes. You will support the class teachers in general classroom and behaviour management, taking a lead on positive behaviour support as there are a number of pupils with “big personalities”. You will tailor behavioural support dependent on pupil’s responses and personalities, implementing tailored strategies that pupils best respond to.
