Your new company

Desian Education are proud to be supporting a single-form entry primary school in Frodsham that is at the heart of its local community as they require an experienced and reliable higher level teaching assistant to join their team on a full-time temporary basis. This position has an immediate start available and will last the remainder of the academic year.

Your new role

In this school you will be joining a highly experienced and supportive EYFS and KS1 cohort. You will work in collaboration with the class teachers to promote the engagement, learning and development of your new pupils by building strong constructive relationships and breaking down barriers. You will be based within the reception class and as a HLTA you will independently plan and deliver comprehensive interventions in key areas such as phonics, communication, etc., and support in the development of social interaction and fine motor skills. As well as supporting the EYFS class you will also deliver PPA cover across KS1.

  • Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Children’s DBS check
  • Recent relevant and referenceable classroom experience
  • Expert knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 national curriculums
