Desian Education are proud to be supporting a single-form entry primary school in Chester with easy access to the motor as they require an experienced and motivated teaching assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a full-time temporary position where you will play a vital part in the behavioural and emotional development of a number of pupils across KS2 (key stage 2).

As a teaching assistant within this school, you will work alongside the SENCO to promote the emotional development, attendance, and behaviours of a group of pupils across KS2. You will liaise with class teachers on your pupils' behaviours and needs on the given day, tailoring your approach to best suit their individual personality and needs at any given time.

You will work with the SENCO and teachers to plan and deliver various 1:1 behavioural and well-being sessions, initially completed within a break-out room to promote engagement with the aim of integrating your pupils back into class.
