The Role:

  • Full responsibility for a Year 1 class – planning, teaching, and assessing in line with the national curriculum
  • Adapting teaching to support children from a range of backgrounds, including EAL learners
  • Creating a structured, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Working closely with support staff, SEN teams, and school leadership
  • Full-time teaching position

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Full Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
  • Experience in Year 1, KS1, or high-need settings (EAL experience highly desirable)
  • Confident differentiating learning to meet a range of needs and abilities
  • Calm, patient, and positive approach to behaviour and inclusion
  • Committed, resilient, and passionate about closing attainment gaps

Pay: M1 – M6: £120 – £232 per day, depending on experience
