Job Description
About us
We are a London-based startup transforming how financial professionals access and use data. We are building a system of intelligence empowered by AI-driven automation and analytics: a category-defining product that supercharges users to extract knowledge and put it to work.
Backed by top international venture funds and a stellar group of angel investors, we are a team of technologists and founders with experience in building AI products (@Advent International) and scaling unicorns (@Scalapay).
We are currently looking for rockstars to join our core team. Together, we will build Desia from the ground up and establish it as the global leader in financial intelligence.
This is a London-based hybrid position, requiring at least two days per week in our office.
What you'll do
As a core UI/UX Designer, you will shape the user experience of our AI-powered platform. You will own the entire design process—from user flows and wireframes to pixel-perfect mockups and interactive prototypes—translating complex requirements into intuitive and elegant interfaces.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the design of intuitive, high-fidelity user interfaces and experiences.
- Create user flows, wireframes, and journey maps to solve complex problems.
- Partner closely with front-end and back-end engineers throughout the development cycle, owning the design handoff and providing iterative feedback to adapt to technical constraints and opportunities.
- Actively contribute to sprint planning and prioritization, ensuring upcoming features have clear requirements and detailed design specifications.
- Conduct design QA to ensure the final product meets our quality standards.
- Build, maintain, and champion our design system to ensure consistency and scale.
- Develop and test prototypes to rapidly validate and iterate on ideas.
Who You Are
Must-have:
- A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in UI/UX and product design.
- Proven experience shipping products in collaboration with engineering and product teams.
- Deep experience with creating and maintaining design systems.
- Ability to translate complex user feedback into clear design solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in B2B SaaS, finance, or designing for complex data products.
- Experience designing for AI or LLM-powered interfaces.
- Experience using quantitative and qualitative data (e.g., from tools like Posthog) to inform design decisions and measure impact against business goals.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a UI/UX or Product Design role.
- A portfolio is required for consideration.
What We Offer
- Competitive Salary (based on experience)
- Performance Bonus
- Stock Options & Retirement Plan
