Marketing and Social Content Manager

Desi Daru is a multi-award-winning ultra-premium spirits brand blending Indian heritage with British craftsmanship. Best known for our iconic Alphonso Mango Vodka, we bring the flavours and spirit of modern India to a global audience.

As we scale rapidly across top bars, restaurants, and retail venues in the UK and beyond, we’re looking for a Marketing & Social Content Manager to elevate our social presence and brand storytelling.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on, creative-first role for someone who enjoys social media, culture and content. You’ll manage Desi Daru’s social channels end-to-end, from ideation and shooting to editing, posting and optimisation to bring Desi Daru’s vibrant brand to life.

This role is primarily focused on marketing and content creation, with design and event support forming part of wider campaign delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and executing a monthly content calendar aligned to launches and campaigns
• Owning and managing Desi Daru’s social channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
• Creating high-quality short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
• Capturing content at events, bar activations, tastings and trade shows
• Editing content with captions, music, transitions and branding
• Engaging with the community via comments, DMs and brand mentions
• Supporting product launches, partnerships and influencer collaborations
• Tracking performance and optimising content based on insights
• Supporting POS, decks and visual assets where required
• Attend key trade events to support with both visual presence and content creation.
• Coordinate with other designers, videographers, and activation managers.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years’ experience in Marketing, Brand Strategy and Social Media
• Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok best practices
• Confident shooting and editing short-form video
• Comfortable being on camera when required
• Ability to subtitle, colour-correct and format content for different platforms
• Strong storytelling skills with a commercial, brand-led mindset
• Knowledge of posting, scheduling and analytics tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite or similar)
• Strong portfolio showing POS materials, social content, and brand-led design work.
• Proven in creating assets for both digital and print environments.
• Organised with ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects concurrently.

Working Arrangement

This is a full-time role based in our London HQ (Ealing), working five days per week in-office, with flexibility around content shoots, events and activations.

There is strong opportunity for progression as Desi Daru continues to scale.
