Lidl GB Newton Aycliffe offers a competitive salary of £13.00 - £13.95 per annum, with a night shift allowance of £3.50 per hour. This is a full-time contract with working hours from 10:00pm to 6:30am, and you will receive 30-35 days holiday (pro rata), a 10% in-store discount, and enhanced family leave.
As a Lidl Warehouse Operative, you will ensure our stores receive the right stock when they need it. Your responsibilities will include:
- Multitasking and carefully listening to picking instructions through your headset to carry them out swiftly
- Packing a variety of products including meat, fruit, frozen, and chilled items (with premium payments of £1.50/hour when working at temperatures as low as -18°C)
- Ensuring deliveries are perfectly stacked and secure
- Reporting any damaged items to your manager
- Working independently through your orders
To succeed in this role, you will need:
